Too Faced Pretty Rebel Palette Product Review

Too Faced Pretty Rebel Packaging Box

This review is sooo long overdue... But I figured since I had taken the effort to take the photos when I purchased this palette and since you can still get you hands on this palette online (£28.00, 30% off at Debenhams), I might as well share my thought on this palette, late as they may be...

I love eyeshadow palettes. I just feel like you get a better bang for your buck then you do with individual shadows. Though you might not get the same quantity as a single eyeshadow, you get a nice selection of shades and finishes to play with, but I digress... The Too Faced Pretty Rebel palette consist of a beautiful selection of 10 jewelled toned and metallic eyeshadows; perfect for any eyeshadow enthusiast.

The Too Faced Pretty Rebel palette does not disappoint on the packaging front. The case is a beautiful gold and a really portable size which is perfect for fitting in a larger make-up bag or for travelling with. Inside the case the palette has the standard make-up mirror which is a good size however I wish the mirror would stand up to angle so that you can easily use it to apply makeup but it's definitely not a deal breaker.

I love the theme of the palette. It reminds me of 'Mean Girls', 'Easy A' and other sassy teen movies. The eyeshadow names reflect the theme with the first row of eyeshadow being pretty sounding like 'Dainty', 'Totally Fetch' and 'Miss Sparkles' whilst the second row is a bit more rebel like 'Gangsta', 'Instigator' and 'Badass'.

I also adore the mix of colours. This palette has a good mix of neutrals and bright colours however a nice midtone brown would've made this palette absolutely perfect. And let me tell you the pigmentation on these shadows is pretty amazing; 'Jailbird' might be the best silver eyeshadow, I own in my makeup collection period. And the texture of these shadow are nice and soft.

Dainty is a matte nude cream colour with a pink undertone. It's perfect for highlighting the brow bone however it does blend out a bit too easily.

Charming is a matte cool dark chocolate brown. This shade is great for creating depth in the crease.

Girly is a duo-chrome green brown. It reminds me of MAC Blue Brown eyeshadow. Love this eyeshadow!

Totally Fetch is a cool opalescent shimmery barbie pink shade. This is a very unique shade but I do find it hard to wear.

Miss Sparkles is a carbon black with silver shimmers. Great for doing a classic black smokey eye.

Ringleader is beautiful shimmery champagne shade. It's such a versatile shade. Love this eyeshadow.

Gangsta is shimmery bronze eyeshadow. Nothing mind blowing but still a nice classic shade.

Instigator is delicious shimmery antique gold my swatch doesn't do it justice really.

Badass is a navy blue with silver shimmer. I use this on bottom lash line for contrast but it also so make for a gorgeous blue smokey eye.

Jailbird is the most amazing silver ever. I reach this palette whenever I need a silver.

I can easily say each and everyone of these shadows performs extremely well and I cannot recommend this enough. (4 out of 5).
