ELF Lipstick + Studio Glossy Gloss Product Reviews

ELF Lipstick and Studio Glossy Gloss
Hello! I'm here with another review of discount makeup retailer ELF, this time some of their lip products. So lets not waste any time and get right into it...

ELF Essential Lipstick in Seductive, Classy, Sociable, Fearless and Gypsy

ELF Essential Lipsticks come in a small array from colours from light pink to snow white red and priced at the bargain price of £1.95. However you're luck enough to catch them in a sale (like me) you can snatch them up for less than a pound! The packaging is not fantastic; it's rather lightweight, plasticky and flimsy but I do like the fact you can see the colour before you open it.

The actual product is not too bad (although I'm not a fan of the cheap lipstick scent it has) the lipstick is actually nicely pigmented and feels moisturising on the lips. The finish on all the lipsticks is a creamy 'satin' finish with a slight sheen but it does settle into the lines of your lips. Overall I think for the price you get an ok product - this is something I would say is more for a beginner in makeup or someone who wants to play with colour on a small budget. (2.5 out of 5).

On to the ELF Studio Glossy Glosses (what a mouthful, aye) which are slightly more costly at £3.95 each. The Studio Gloss selection consist of 9 shades going from pale nude and pinks to bright fuchsias and reds.

The packaging is quite simple but cute and easily popped into your pocket, purse or handbag. The applicator is a brush which works pretty well. The product perform really nicely, they last a decent amount of time around 4 hours if you don't eat or drink. The glosses have a nice pigmentation and gloss without feeling sticky on the lips. I really like these glosses you can't go too wrong with them at all. (4.5 out of 5).
