Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadows Product Review

I love playing with colour especially when it comes to eye shadows! That why I was so excited when I heard about Inglot Freedom System Palettes - high quality, customisable palettes at a reasonable prices. For those of you unfamiliar with the brand, Inglot is a Polish brand of cosmetic created almost 25 years ago on the ethos of affordable, high quality cosmetics. So you guessed it I couldn't wait to try out what was on offer...
In the Inglot store I felt like a child in a candy shop because there was such a wide range of colour, shades and finishes and not just in eye shadows. The Inglot Freedom System is exactly that - very "free". You have so many options available to you in terms of the size of the palettes, types of product and a full spectrum of shades.

I initially went for a ten pan eye shadow palette (I did go back and buy another later). One ten pan eye shadow palette set me back £55 which might not sound as cheap as chips at first but when compared to other high end make-up brands it's absolutely phenomenal. For a 15 pan MAC eye shadow your palette looking in the ball park of about £165 (correct me if I'm wrong). Each individual pan at Inglot cost £4.50 for about 2.3-2.7 grams of product whilst at MAC a pan will cost you £10 for 1.5 grams of products.

But how does the quality compare you might ask - and I would answer (lol), the Inglot eye shadow are just as good if not better then MAC. Inglot eye shadow are very pigment, finely milled and long lasting. I tend to prefer the sparkle, shimmer and metallic finishes as these tend to blend a better then the mattes. However the mattes are still very nice too.

The Inglot Freedom System packaging also sets it apart from other brands. The palettes are made out of very sturdy plastic with completely removable magnetic lids. I like the packaging however it is a bit bulky and the lid means you can easily destroy your eye shadows if you not being careful.

All in all, I am very impressed with my Inglot Freedom System eye shadows. I love the fact I can combine colour and shades that work for me at an awesome price. I only wish these products were more readily available. 4.5 out of 5.
